I got an opportunity to be part of 5-Days Industry Engagement boot camp organised by Vita Nova Educators from 10th June to 14th June 2025. It was a great learning experience for me as a student to be part of a program where I can interact with the industry leaders and get real time industry insights.
The program commenced with a panel discussion led by three experts: Mr. Ajay Vaishnav, Ms. Disha Pannu and Mr. Mohit Bansal. They shared their knowledge and experiences, giving us a better understanding of the business world. It was followed by sessions on Finance, Human Resources, and Sales. In the Finance session, the expert, Mr. Sanjeev Bansal, CFO of NIIT, explained the complex concepts in a simple way. Whereas, in the HR session, Ms. Pooja Sharma led fun roleplay activities that showed us the importance of HR professionals and its function. Likewise, in the Sales session, Ms. Priyamvada Singh highlighted how sales function works in the context of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and guided us in creating a skit to promote a perfume, teaching us effective sales strategies.

One of the highlights of the program was an Industrial Visit to DRiV, Tenneco’s Kitting Plant in Palwal Campus. We saw how raw materials are turned into finished products, which was fascinating. We also learned about the manufacturing processes and the importance of quality control.
Throughout the program, we have learnt and gained valuable insights on the diverse business functions from industry experts and gained practical skills. Along with the Industrial Visit, we had a market visit to Kisan Mandi, which helped us to understand the consumer behaviour and how the Kisan Mandi operates. Both the visits helped us understand the functioning from global to local.

Overall, the program was a great experience that provided me with a better understanding of the business world. I’m thankful to Vita Nova Educators for organizing the program and giving me the opportunity to be part of it. I appreciated the opportunity to interact with industry experts and learn from their experiences. The field visit to Driv Incorporated was also a great experience, giving me a firsthand look at the manufacturing process. I’m looking forward to using what I’ve learned to achieve my goals.
